About Helen
Knowledge, expertise and a compassionate approach for your health journey.
Hello, I'm Helen and for as long as I can remember I have always loved biology, nature, plants and animals, I studied Zoology in college and it led to my interest in nutrition and food. I did my first diploma in Nutrition and Fitness in 1988. For many years I worked mainly as an aerobics instructor and also creating weight loss plans It's amazing to think that back then, the thinking was that eggs were bad. all carbs are good and all fats were bad there was no such thing as omega-3 fats at all! I went on to do my Diploma in Nutrition and added certificates in Live blood Analysis in 2003 which I felt was a really good fit for my work.
I don't believe in fad diets or quick fixes and I don't believe that expensive tests are the only way forward for your health.
I believe people can achieve lasting health benefits with simple, moderate, dietary changes and supportive lifestyle habits.
Everybody has their share of health challenges and I've been there too.
Nowadays between all the Internet information, AI and multiple testing options available, it's very easy to get confused and difficult to know what information is really useful to you, I believe that healing begins when you feel safe and supported and heard, After over three decades doing this work, I have seen so many trends come and go over the years but I can honestly say I know what works and I would be very happy to be your nutrition mentor.

I am so grateful and relieved to have found Helen in December. Since then I feel much more confident about my health issue. From the beginning she gathered and assessed all of my background health and well-being information, gave me spot on feedback and confidently indicated the best way to proceed. I feel encouraged by her knowledge. Helen is perceptive, enthusiastic and very kind. I highly recommend her and have told many people about her already.
